Bubble.
I have come up with a way to explain the things in our lives that are fleeting, but leave a lasting mark - I am going to call them bubbles.
Bubbles, we, as children, probably chased these soapy, rainbow sphere's with glee and clapped our soapy hands, delighted to have "caught" the elusive bubbles.
I see the moments in life as, fleeting, colorful, floating spheres, that we chase, and either clap with glee, and delight in "catching" or we angrily swat them away in irritation (like your relatives did if you blew bubbles too close to the food at a picnic) But regaurdless, these bubble moments, though they disappear, they leave a residue... a soapy film, that is there, something we touch/feel, and either again, clap with delight, and let the residue remain until someone points out that we might want to wash up, or we wipe it off on our pants and go on with living.
I have had many bubble moments in my life, and I am thankful for them, I know that life is hard sometimes, and we need to hold on to the things that brig us joy, and to learn/grow from the things that cause us pain.
Remember, life is about the details, how we re-act to things that happen.
Take a moment, blow some bubbles, and just revel in the pure joy of being happy and free :)
