Mini-Rant on the Perils of Calling Tech Support.

So, I turned off my computer, as it needed to update, and those things sometimes take forever, so I just turn off the computer and let it do it's thing.
But on wednesday last there was a storm, and I lost internet connectivity, so I restarted the computer.
And it still wouldnt connect. I was irritated and annoyed, so I called Tech Support.
After I had the same instruction, five different ways, and there wasnt any change, she made me do it all again, so I performed the same actions with no result, over 40 times. (and I spent close to two hours on the phone)
I finally got it to connect. So I told her that she was 'super helpful' and I was 'pleased with her ability to solve the problem'   When in reality I wanted to tell her she was an idiot, and all she had to say was 'just keep doing the same thing repetativly, and it should work'
Anyways, today, the same thing happened, and the person I got when I called Tech Support, I got some middle-easter, or Indian ethnic person, who I couldnt freakin' understand, he then proceeded to 'walk me through the steps needed to assist me with my issue'
Long story short, he was NOT helpful, or understandable, and wanted me to send my computer in so they could replace the wireless card. which would result in a full-system scan, and restore, which would mean that they would be erasing my hard drive and some such nonsense...I HUNG UP ON THE NON-COHERANT IDIOT.
And I used the combine knowlage of the two experiances, and I FIXED MY F-ING COMPUTER BY MY FRIGGIN' SELF.
Take that Tech Support.
FYI and BTW, YOU SUCK.

43 Days

I have been jobless now, for 43 days, and I am not sure what to do about it.

I have tried applying to everwhere I could think of.

I even sent my resume a few places, just to see if there was any chance someone might think
me uniquely qualified, or be in need of my skills/abilities.
But alas, I am still unemployed.
However, I am attending a few workshops at the CareerLink, to see if I can improve my resume,

and  perhaps find something that I will enjoy doing for the unforseen future of my life.
