Summer Fun

Ok, so thanks to Nancy B. I have become addicted to Twinings Cold Brew Iced Tea(s)
(my fav's are the green tea with mint and the mixed berry)
All you need is about a gallon of cold water (can be room temperature) and six tea bags. let it sit for five minutes and sweeten as desired ( I make a simple syrup 1 c sugar, 1 c hot water) Ice and Enjoy !!

For those of you who like something alcoholic, I have two supurb Sangria recipes:

Tropical Sangria

1 bottle (750 ML) Red Wine (dont spend more than 8$ - a red zinfadel, or a Pinot Noir work well)
1/4 C. Orange Liquer (Grand Mariner or Triple Sec)
2 oranges (sliced thin)
2 limes (sliced thin)
1- 8 oz. can of Pineapple Juice (or Mango)
2 C. lime or lemon seltzer
~ you can add pealed, sliced apples or pears as well if you like.
Combine all ingrediants and refridgerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is prefered)
***(I use lemonlime seltzer, and just a hint, put it in right before serving the sangria )

Serves 6-8

White Peach Sangria
1 bottle (750 ML0 of a dry white wine
3/4 C. Peach Vodka (I use Peach Schnapps if you use the vodka, then a 1/4 C. of sugar should be added)
6 TBS Lemonade Concentraite (thawed)
1 lb. ripe, pitted and sliced white peaches
3/4 C. white grapes (optional)
3/4 C. red grapes

Optional ~ 1/2 C. Brandy and a handful of mint leaves (crush between fingers to release oils )
Refridgerate for at least 4 hours - overnight is better to allow the fruit and mint flavors to infuse the alcohol.

Serves 6-8

Both Recipes can be doubled ( ie two bottles of wine)

I've been singing it wrong all these years...

http://youtu.be/lcWVL4B-4pI

are there songs that you sing, that you dont actually know the lyrics to?
you just sing what you think are the lyrics, but you are usually incorrect :)
