Life

Ok, so, moving is never fun, or easy, and if you think it is, or you know a way to make it more funner, let me know please.
I didint have a problem putting it all in the truck, it was carrying it up the three flights of stairs that wore me out - especially the couch, a 7ft couch, with a queen-sized sofa bed...up three flights of stairs...narrowish stairs, it took all 5 of us to make sure no one got smooshed (my arm has a nice bruise, and my brother did get smooshed (but no harm done, he was on the soft side)
I only traveled the stairs a total of 11 times up, and down, as I am asthmatic and my sister kept yelling at me (I was fine, I know when to stop) after two trips in the U-Haul, three in the jeep, 3 trips to the storage container, 11 trips up and down three flights os stairs, a bike ride, and a million trip in and out of the old house, and pretty much a whole day (from 9am on friday, to 1am on saturday) my mother and siblings are moved out of my dad's house, and hopefully away from the verbal abuse and 'The Incident' (for which the trial is this weekend) I would like to think my family drama is over, but I have a terrible feeling that nothing is ever going to be the same again...
good new is, that exactly 4 months to the day, and I mean exact date !!! (1/19/2011 - 4/19/2011)
I am now gainfully employed !!! meaning that I am going to be working for a small company, I had to pinch myself when I got the call, I was sooooo excited, here is my third chance (my second one didnt work out so well, it actually was the worst experiance of my life, and while I am glad for it, I do not want to go through that again.)

I am now going to sweep my living room floor, and watch a movie (well, its a foriegn film, so I will be reading most of it)

Suprises

I got a call last week, for an Interview.
Thing is, I couldnt for the life of me remember applying for the position...
This morning I did some research, and I found out that I had indeed applied for the position, and I had even received a response, however, my resume has changed since then, and I was afraid that they would see that as a contradiction, so I explained that I had no recollection of the application, but all was well, they had me fill out another application, and conducted the interview.
I should know either way in the next week or so.

Just goes to show that you should keep an acurate record of all the places you apply when job hunting, even if they tell you initially that they have reviewd your application, and while not hiring at this time, they might change their mind in a month or so, and call you back.
In conclusion, if you are a job hunter, and you find yourself discouraged, and ready to give up, there is always the smallest chance, that some day soon, you will be getting a call, like I did, out of the blue, and a job will be waiting for you on the other end. Dont Give Up, Dont Give In - Stand Tall !
