Some Sad News

If anyone reads this blog, and you have the game candyland (or know where I could find it) the 1985 version..

Backstory: Candy Land was one of my favorite games as a kid, and last night, my sister (who was helping another of my sisters clean out her room) that my other sister(to clarify, I hav four sisters) got rid of ALL my games that were stored in her closet at my parents house. It made me really sad. and I dont have any idea when she did, or where she took it but the game was in mint conditon, not a piece or a card missing, the box corners were a bit banged up and I think taped with masking tape, but otherwise, it was fine. 16 years, and 6 kids playing with it, and she gets rid of it.
I called my Mother and told her, and she is a bit upset too, and I cant be placated with 'oh, I'll just replace it'
it cannot be replaced, the only thing I can find anywhere, are the newer versions, were Plumpy is now replaced by some ginger beast, they call it the chocolate swamp since imbacilic children now days dont have a clue what molasses is, they call Princess Lolly, just plain Lolly, and Queen Frostine has been demoted to Princess Frostine, and Mr Mint lookes scary (in my opinion)
Just leave the classics alone :)
