It All Starts With A Lie

Most of the good stories all start with a lie.
In fact, The Greatest Story Ever Told, started with a lie.
In the Beginning God Created... then, there was a serpent, who LIED, and Eve lied, and then, they both tried to shift the blame.
sounds familiar right?
There are wars being fought, financial crisis-es, families torn apart, nations slaughtered, children murdered, all because we humans lie to ourselves every day.
I cant read the newspapers, or watch a news broadcast, for fear of all the destruction I will see, this is the result of lies, we are cast out of our perfect paradise, for lying, and disobedience.
I am not free from this, I lie, mostly to myself, I am not very good with the truth, especially when it is uncomfortable, or hurts so bad, but sometimes, truth is stranger than fiction (to borrow the saying) and I am making a resolution to tell the truth, hopefully, spoken in love, and not to bring harm, but I appreciate the need for 'brutal honesty' - in the world full of lies.
